Breadmakers

So, I am tired of making bread the good ol' fashioned way and am ready for a machine to help me out.

Anyone got any recommendations for a bread machine????

Depends on what you want to do with it. I never actually bake bread in mine because I don't like the way it turns out. I always just use the dough setting and then make my loaf by hand. In which case, all I really need is the $30-35 1 1/2 lb. one they sell at Walmart or wherever. I got my first one over a decade ago and the only reason I'm not still using it is because I let the pan rust (I was too lazy to wash it out by hand and keep water out of the turning mechanism on the bottom). I've been better with my second one and it still looks wonderful. You really don't have to spend that much to get a decent one. :)

I have owned 2 bread machines (people who didn't want them and I took them) and honestly never used either one. If I still have one you are welcome to it! I only make pumpkin or banana bread and it is easier to make it the ole fashioned way. I'll start looking for one right now for you!

All I can offer is that I've eaten bread from a bread machine and it tasted delicious. Sorry....don't know a thing about the machine. (But I wanted to send my full support in your bread machine purchasing idea.) Do it!!
