Comfort

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, The Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort which we ourselves are comforted by God

II Corinthians 1:3,4

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience, endurance, and perseverance.

James 1:2,3

One of my favorites - it has brought me much comfort remembering that God has a purpose despite the hurt of the moment.

I am amazed how as time passes there really is comfort in giving others comfort through this wonderful promise. I know that you will find this promise will hold true for you as well over time!

Isn't it amazing how God's comfort comes in any amount we need? It's what calms my heartaches. I think about my laying down all my hurts, fears, sadness....and Him saying, "I've got it all covered Sweetheart. I'll give you everything you need."
